Visit MILUG at the VIEX Sept 20-22
MILUG will have a massive LEGO display at the VIEX (Vancouver Island Exhibition) this weekend (Sept 20-22). We will be recreating the VIEX grounds out of LEGO and we will have a second display of orange LEGO flowers as part of the BC Gardens orange truth and reconciliation theme for horticulture this year. We will also have our bins of LEGO playbrick, wacky race ramp, and LEGO Stuntz bikes “skee ball”.
Although the fair opens Friday morning, the MILUG display won’t be open until Friday evening after 5pm. Members will be setting up the display live so if you are interested in watching us create the VIEX out of LEGO, then come check out the action on Friday evening until 7:30pm. If you’d prefer to wait until the display is all set up, then please come by on Saturday 10:00am until 7:30pm or Sunday 10:00am until 5:00pm.
The VIEX is located at Beban Park (2300 Bowen Road, Nanaimo), and the MILUG display will be in the main Home Arts building (Centennial Building). Please note that there is VERY limited parking this year and it is available on a first come first serve basis.
