MILUG Brings LEGO® Space to the Science Sunday Expo this Sunday!

MILUG members will be at the Science Sunday Expo on Sunday February 25 from 9am to 11am. This is a fun family event filled with everything science! There will be over 25 exhibitors including MILUG. We will be displaying realistic LEGO® space models including the Hubble Space Telescope, an orrery (mechanical model of the solar system), the Saturn 1B, constellations, and more. We will also have a LEGO® play brick station for those who want to get creative while at the event.

The Science Sunday Expo will be at Country Club Centre (3200 North Island Highway), Nanaimo, BC. Tickets are $5 per person, $20 for families of 4 or more; children under 2 free! Tickets are now available for pre-purchase at Nanaimo Science or Country Club Centre’s Information/Lotto booth. Tickets also available at the door (cash only), but lineups expected for day-of sales. There will be door prizes, a 50/50 raffle and more.
