MILUG in the News!
MILUG held our 4th annual Mid Island Brick Fest this past weekend at Country Club Centre and a local reporter stopped in to see what it was all about. Check out the article on the Nanaimo News Bulletin. They interviewed MILUG Co-founder Krista Simpson who shared information about MILUG and the Mid Island Brick Fest, our annual MILUG-driven event.
The article also mentions our goal of growing our membership and Mid Island Brick Fest provides us with a great way to reach a lot of people. Of course, we also want to share our love of LEGO with LEGO fans (and potential fans) of all ages. The article touches on some features of Mid Island Brick Fest. As always, kids really enjoyed the play brick and wacky race ramp as well as our newest activity, a LEGO Stuntz Bikes skee-ball style jump station.
Thanks again to our community partners, Vancouver Island Regional Library – Wellington Branch and Nanaimo Science. Stay tuned for a detailed blog about the event with more photos!
