4th Annual Mid Island Brick Fest!
MILUG (Mid Island LEGO® Users Group) is hosting our fourth annual Mid Island Brick Fest on Saturday October 28 from 10am until 4pm at Country Club Centre (between the library and Shoppers Drug Mart) in Nanaimo. This event is brought to you by MILUG and our community partners: VI Regional Library Wellington Branch and Nanaimo Science.
This is a free family event for LEGO® fans of all ages!
LEGO Exibition
Come check out the large exhibition of custom LEGO® models:
- LEGO® literature builds – come see your favourite book turned into a LEGO model!
- A massive building with rooms representing various seasons and holidays – see if you can find all the hidden elements!
- A huge LEGO® Mosaic with a nod to Vancouver Island.
- Over 50 different custom LEGO® models from space to castles to cities and so much more!
- LEGO® minifigure photography

Calling all TFOLs (Teen Fans of LEGO®)!
We are inviting TFOLs (teen fans of LEGO®) age 13-18 to participate in the Mid Island Brick Fest just like MILUG members. Teens are welcome to submit custom LEGO® models, LEGO® stop motion videos, or LEGO® photography and to attend the event to share their love of LEGO® with the public. TFOLs must register in advance if they wish to have their LEGO® models, videos, or photography on display. For details and to register please contact midislandlug@gmail.com
