Drafts are Back!

LEGO drafts are a lot of fun and a favourite activity of many MILUG members. They are a fun way to acquire larger quantities of individual elements. To learn more about drafts check out the MILUG blog about my first draft and my draft strategy.

It has been some time since our last draft and we have quite a few new members, so I wasn’t sure how it would ago. And sure enough, there were some curve balls! One of our new members jumped on the small lots of interesting parts (like Whip 61975) VERY early – like third pick, which changed everything. Regardless, we all had lots of fun and we were happy to be back doing in person activities together.

I would love to do another draft soon, but they are most enticing when sets can be found for significant discounts (we try to hit 50%), and discounted LEGO is hard to find these days. If you hear of any online discounts or sale sets on Vancouver Island, please let us know!
