Mid Island LUG Formed at BrickCAN 2016
Welcome to the website for the newest Vancouver Island LEGO User’s Group! This group is a place where Adult Fans of LEGO (AFOLs) in the mid island area can get together and meet other LEGO fans, plan public events, and have some fun.
Just this past weekend, several mid islanders from Nanaimo and Coombs met at Vancouver’s first ever Adult LEGO Fan Convention, BrickCAN 2016. With the help and guidance of members of other local LEGO User Groups (LUGs), including the Vancouver LEGO Club and VicLUG, we quickly formed a new group: MILUG.
We are now in the stages of developing some of the key policies and goals that will guide the LUGs development through the next year. We are in search of new members. So if you are an adult fan of LEGO, and would like to join a group with like-minded individuals to share in the creativity and enjoyment of LEGO, please join our forums and ask about becoming a member!
